"I found the accomodation at Casitas Pacificas in Mancora absolutely charming and comfortable, lacking for nothing. Everything in our casita worked well and the decor was fresh and attractive. Our hosts were ready to help in all ways and the spot could not be more beautiful, right on the loveliest beach imaginable great for just walking or riding or of course swimming in the surf. For sunning the outdoor terrace with views to the beach is well set back offering privacy and good sun loungers and umbrellas, surrounded by exotic flora and fauna.Breakfast was served at our casita on our outdoor dining patio consisting of fruits such as watermelon, papaya and mango amongst others. The weather was perfect for al fresco dining at all times and the little village was within walking distance where one could find good restaurants, and little shops and stalls selling items crafted by local artisans. This is a true paradise and I have dreamed often of going back one day."

"I spent some wonderful days in one of the beach villas in this tropical idyll. Best memories were of eating wonderful local food overlooking the sea and relaxing on sunbeds. The hospitality was warm and welcoming , the villa was comfortable and attractively decorated. I would highly recommend it for anyone needing a complete escape. Breakfast was served in your villa overlooking the ocean and lunch and dinner could be taken there or on another beach a short walk away where there was a very nice restaurant. and small shops selling local handicrafts. One day I hope to go back."

"Walking through the tide pools with my six year old was a trip of discovery. We happened upon a squid shooting his ink, watched crabs, and fancied finding pearls in the oysters. In the morning, the cook and I would meet the local fishermen who would sell their fish on the beach and we would plan our evening dinner around the catch of the day. The beach is clean and beautiful, but also has grass and coconut trees that offer shade and coolness under foot. You feel like you are at the edge of the world, offering a true respite from the fast pace of everyday life. The bungalows are quaint, with covered porches that serve as the true living area. The owners uphold a very high standard and are delightful as well. This is one of my favorite spots and I hope to return for the fourth time."

"I went out to Casitas Pacificas with my girlfriend for what was going to be a couple weeks, and we ended up staying nearly two months! I could not recommend this place more highly! Beautiful casitas fronted by lush gardens that roll away into a stunning beach, amazing sunsets, fresh oysters and fish from the local fishermen every day -- literally we would wake up and stroll down onto the beach with our coffees to see what Julio had just brought in on his balsa raft, our food for the day! -- and in all our time there, there was not even one cloudy day, let alone a rainy one!

Wilfredo was a real gent, and took such good care of us, never being over-attentive and always very respectful of our privacy. Most nights we stayed in at the casita (we stayed in Duenos, and Pondokkie, both amazing) and had BBQ's/drinks, but we did visit quite a few restaurants, too, in Mancora, and along the beach. In town, I'd recommend La Sirena de Juan - unbelievable food! - and Atelier for the best pisco sours. In terms of activities, there's some amazing surfing, tons of wildlife, turtles/crocs sightseeing nearby, stunning walks -- if you actually feel inclined to leave the casitas which we rarely did.”

- Jon S, Londres

"The accommodation and location of Casitas Pacificas has got to be the best in Mancora - we stayed in Casa de Los Duenos which is the smallest of the three casitas here but it has the largest garden which stretches from the "house" all the way down to the broad, clean, sandy beach. And here the beach was really quiet - day and night - just the odd fisherman, horse rider, masseuse or jewellery seller trying to gently persuade you to buy their wares. But never forceful and usually a smile and a shake of the head was enough.

The casita is actually two or three whitewashed buildings with palm rooves all linked by pathways and through lovely palm trees and there were always all sorts of exotic birds flitting around. Just the perfect place to relax with a book a cup of tea, glass of wine and listen to the waves.

The house is well furnished and the kitchen very well equipped - if you speak Spanish, shopping in Mancora's daily market is great fun, and about a ten minute bone-shaking moto taxi ride away, or a 45-60 minute walk along the beach and through town.

I would return tomorrow f I could, it was gorgeous, as if I had put all my dream holiday requirements into the property myself."
